VeriLocation wins new contract to fit VL-CANbus telematics systems to 52 vehicles

December 2009

VeriLocation has won another new vehicle telematics contract with a large haulage provider.

Mainland Group, based in Northampton, has had the full VL-CANbus vehicle telematics system fitted to 52 vehicles in its fleet.

And the systems could then be rolled out to the rest of the company’s fleet in 2010.

VeriLocation’s GPS-tracked system is proven to help haulage businesses significantly cut the costs of fleet operations.

It provides information which can easily be used by fleet managers to increase the mpg of vehicles and significantly decrease operational costs.

One of VeriLocation’s customers reported a stunning 10 to 1 return on investment over three years.

Mainland Group Ltd has been in business since 1973 and has a fleet of more than 60 modern, well maintained vehicles, ranging from small vans to the very latest in heavy goods vehicles.

It is part of the Pall-Ex national network of collection and distribution depots. Pall-Ex members were recently recognised by the editor of Roadway magazine as "the cream of UK haulage".
