Mobile Phone and Lone Worker Tracking

Mobile Phone and Lone Worker Tracking

Mobile Phone Tracking

This revolutionary web based system enables registered users to identify and track the location of consenting mobile phone users. This automatic locating service uses mobile phone signals from the UK's major network operators (O2, Vodafone, Orange & T-mobile) and combines them with the latest Internet technology to display a mobile phone's location on a street level map in any normal web browser.

We currently have over 100,000 mobile members in the UK.

It only takes a couple of minutes to set up your account with our fully automated process (incorporating SMS and email). Just follow the five easy steps, and start tracking.

A web account costs £5 + VAT per month and gives you 10 free tracking credits each month added to your account automatically. (Minimum six months subscription.) You can buy more credits online from 20p per track.

Security features require that the mobile wished to be tracked will be randomly sent an SMS message notifying the user that they have given permission to be located by the account holder. The initial setup sends a security password to the mobile and requires a valid UK address, credit card and e-mail account.

The system provides only an approximate location of the mobile and the accuracy depends on the density of mobile cell stations. Rural areas could show less than five kilometres accuracy.

If the mobile is switched off, out of GSM coverage, or abroad then the location request will fail and your account will be deducted one credit despite a nil return.

Service complies with the Code of Practice for the use of passive location services in the UK.

Please note. Location Services are designed to locate the phone of another person. For the service to work, the phone has to be switched on and within network coverage. Location services aimed at children are intended to complement, not be a substitute for, normal parental supervision. They give information about the location of a child's phone and, in conjunction with other types of communication, such as phoning or texting, can help parents keep in touch with their children.

Lone Worker Tracking

Lone Worker Tracking

The VL-Solo lone worker tracking device is designed to provide GPS accurate (50 metres and less) location information in real time anywhere in the world.

The device pushes out its co-ordinates every one to five minutes which can then be viewed on a detailed map or aerial imagery over the web through any standard browser on the VeriLocation portal. The self-contained battery provides power for up to twelve hours and is further complimented by the use of A-GPS (Assisted) which uses data enhancements to provide GPS tracking even inside certain buildings and enclosed areas.

A panic alarm button alerts central control rooms when activated. The device is IP water and dust resistant and is housed in a ruggedised shell for durability. Typical uses are in the security industry, district nursing, field based workers and social services where remote visits are required in non-safe environments.

The system is purchased with a three year tracking subscription for an all inclusive price with no further costs.
